The $95 annual fee is offset by a $50 annual hotel credit (just book through the Chase travel portal). You receive 5x points on any travel booked through the Chase travel portal, 2x points on all other travel purchases, and 3x points on all dining purchases. The current welcome offer is to earn 60,000 bonus miles when you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. This is marketed as being equal to $750 in travel if redeemed through the Chase travel portal. However, by understanding how to use transfer partners, you can get significantly more value. \"\"<\/a>The Capital One Venture X card is a great intermediate travel card. Don’t let the $395 annual fee scare you away. There is a $300 annual travel credit (just book through the Capital One travel portal) that brings this annual fee effectively down to $95. <\/span>One of my favorite features is that it earns unlimited 2X miles on all purchases, so I use it for all my spending that does not fit into another bonus category. <\/span>Another standout feature of this card is the lounge access! You gain access to CapitalOne lounges and Priority Pass lounges, which is a feature you won’t normally get for a card that effectively has a $95 annual fee. <\/span>Additionally, you earn 10X miles on hotels and rental cars and 5X miles on flights through CapitalOne Travel. <\/span>And you will also receive 10,000 bonus miles (equal to $100 towards travel) every year, starting on your first anniversary. There are no foreign transaction fees<\/span>The <\/span>current offer is to earn 75,000 bonus miles when you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. This is marketed as being equal to $750 in travel. \"\"<\/a>If you pay rent, YOU NEED THIS CREDIT CARD. For most people, rent is one of their biggest expenses, so the opportunity to earn points here is huge! You are probably thinking, “my landlord doesn’t let me pay my rent with a credit card.” By getting this card, you can continue to pay rent through direct debit or a physical paper check. If your landlord prefers direct debit, you just simply switch to the routing number and account number provided by BILT and your landlord will continue to receive payment from you the same way. If you pay by mailing a check, there is a feature on the BILT app where you simply type in amount of your rent and the mailing address for where the check needs to go then BILT writes a check and mails it for you. If you pay by check, this honestly makes it easier and you earn points in the process.<\/span><\/p>\n

With this card you earn 1x points on rent (up to 100k per year), 3x points on dining, and 2x points on travel. You also earn 5x on Lyft rides and BILT dining partners. There is a ‘Rent Day’ promotion on the 1st of each month where all earning rates (expect rent) are doubled! So on the first of each month, you can earn 6x points on dining and 4x points on travel! There is no annual fee, but they require you to have at least 5 transactions per statement cycle to earn points (and rent counts, so only 4 additional). One of the best parts of this card are the amazing transfer partners. They have a ton of options when it comes to transfer partners where you can get significant value. This card also has no foreign transaction fees, provides trip cancellation\/interruption protection, primary auto damage collision waiver for car rentals, and cell phone protection if you pay your bill with the card.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
